Hex168 (Zero Hour) Contest Entry
For the launch of the Xbox 360, with the help of some friends, I submitted this video for the Hex 168 contest. Originally, the contest entries were to be judged by online voting. When the deadline passed, our video was not one of the selected ones (even though it was apparent some tampering had taken place).
A few days later we were notified that the system had, in fact, been tampered with and that all video submissions would be voting by a panel of judges. We were then notified that we were among 360 other winners that would be VIPs to the Zero Hour launch event in the Mojave Desert in California.
For 30 solid hours we were guests at a transformed airplane hanger complete with hundreds of Xbox 360s to veg out and play with. It was really a remarkable adventure.
